Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Chesterfield, MO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress monitoring.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physical therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and position patients as needed.
