Key Responsibilities

The Radiologic Imaging Specialist is responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment that employs magnetic fields and radio frequencies to generate high-resolution images of the human body. Key duties include adhering to safety standards, overseeing patient comfort, and executing diagnostic imaging procedures.

  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes
  • Clearly communicate imaging procedures to patients
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations
  • Uphold patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in a relevant field
  • Must hold ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R)(MR) certification along with current state MRT certification
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • No previous experience necessary

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
