Key ResponsibilitiesThe Radiologic Imaging Specialist is responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment that employs magnetic fields and radio frequencies to generate high-resolution images of the human body. Key duties include adhering to safety standards, overseeing patient comfort, and executing diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes
- Clearly communicate imaging procedures to patients
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times
Education and Experience:
- Preferred: Associate's Degree in a relevant field
- Must hold ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R)(MR) certification along with current state MRT certification
- CPR/BLS certification required
- No previous experience necessary
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication abilities
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills
