Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary
International SOS Government Medical Services is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Iraq. As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays and computed tomography.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-rays and computed tomography
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records
- Adjust immobilization devices, move equipment into specified positions, and modify equipment controls to set exposure factors
- Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred
- Military Radiology Technician technical school training certification (4R0X1, 68P, HM-8451) may also fulfill this requirement
- Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required
- Valid US Passport with at least 6 months before expiration date
- Government security clearance, specifically a MRPT
- Must be able to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate
