Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team at International Paper. As an Electrical and Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance and repair of machines, as well as troubleshooting emergency maintenance on machines to support plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of machines
• Troubleshoot emergency maintenance on machines to support plant operations
• Troubleshoot industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures
• Read, manage, and perform work orders of required maintenance services

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing
• PLC troubleshooting, inputs/outputs, and changeouts of programs
• Experience with Factory Talk or similar HMI software
• Photo eyes, sensors, limit switches, and solenoids
• Repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems (line controls)
• Mechanical Systems (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes)
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics
• High and Low Voltage
• Ability to operate a multimeter to diagnose a variety of electrical issues

Working Conditions:

• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
