Electrical Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team at George J Hayden Inc. As an Electrical Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including data and low-voltage systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues, including identifying and resolving problems with electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure that electrical work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with customers and management to provide updates on work progress and to address any concerns or issues.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical training or certification preferred.
  • Three years of experience in electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA standards.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial locations.
  • May be required to work in extreme temperatures, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Compensation:

Hourly wage: $23-$30
