School Support Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Support Counselor to join our team at The Home for Little Wanderers. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and supervision to students, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and strategies to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with teaching faculty to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assist students with transitions between activities and provide support with daily living skills.
- Maintain a safe and organized environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless care and support.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in a residential setting with a similar population of children.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.
