Automation Controls Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to join our team at PEAK Technical Staffing USA. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industries, including entertainment and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop control systems using DCS/PLC programming and control panel design
- Implement control system redundancy to minimize single points of failure
- Develop schematics of control system configuration, wiring, network layout, and equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD
- Assist with the initial start-up and debugging of integrated systems and the development of system documentation
- Act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers, technicians, and contractors
- Act as Project Manager on smaller projects ranging from $50k to $250k
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in control systems, safety systems, instrumentation, components, logic programming, and DCS programming
- Experience with instrumentation and controls/PLC system design, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Windows and Office environments
- Ability to travel up to 35%
Standard office environment, on-site office environment, and diverse industrial environments. Frequent PC usage, fax machines, copy machines, and phones.
