Position Overview

Welcome to Connections for Kids

Connections for Kids is a premier accredited mental health organization dedicated to positively impacting the lives of children and families for over two decades.

We are in search of a skilled and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to become a vital part of our team at our private special education institutions. Our Academies seamlessly integrate educational frameworks with emotional and behavioral support services.

Role: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Educational Levels:

  • Portland Kids Academy: grades K-8,
  • Kittery Kids Academy: grades K-6,
  • Kittery Academy: grades 7-12

Work Location: Flexible engagement between South Portland and Kittery, Maine

Compensation: Up to $80,000 annually

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (Mandatory)
  • Active BCBA certification in good standing (Mandatory)

Position Summary: The BCBA will operate across our three specialized private schools, executing Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) initiatives alongside tailored behavior plans. This role involves collaboration with educational staff and consultants overseeing student placements, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and behavior strategies to ensure effective program delivery and alignment with best practices. Additionally, the BCBA will mentor Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) to cultivate essential skills within the practice framework. The BCBA will uphold the mission of Connections for Kids and adhere to the agency's policies and procedures, providing essential support, behavior management techniques, and behavior plan execution for BHPs working to enhance student functioning within the educational environment.
