POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and orderliness within the premises. Duties include vacuuming, buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash bins, and replacing liners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain cleanliness in designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning vents, restroom sanitation, etc.)
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks, documenting findings.
  • Undertake heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management.
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments as required.
  • Manage and replenish supply rooms.
  • Collaborate effectively with other staff members.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and sanitation.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to adhere to safety and security protocols.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting written instructions; capable of clear verbal and written communication.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor and operate standard janitorial equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to adhere to schedules and fulfill commitments.
  • Capacity to follow supervisory directions.
  • Professional demeanor at all times.
  • Effective time management skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
