Position Summary:

We are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to become part of our Custodial Maintenance Team. These roles will support our year-round staff in executing maintenance tasks in preparation for the winter season. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a positive demeanor and a readiness to acquire new skills.

Position Specifications:

  • Outlet: Stowe
  • Expected Pay Rate: $22.04 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule: Full Time
  • Experience Level: Entry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document daily and periodic inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of resort facilities, working collaboratively or independently.
  • Perform daily upkeep of associated facilities, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities and vehicles on a daily basis.
  • Communicate maintenance needs proactively to facilitate timely procurement of parts and equipment.
  • Engage with guests and staff while embodying the Core Values of the organization.
  • Assist with operational activities as required.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
  • Willingness to work first shift with flexibility.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Able to ride the Gondola lift.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic educational background preferred.
  • Previous experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

  • Effective communication skills, addressing maintenance and operational needs positively.
  • Team collaboration skills to work effectively with leadership and staff.
  • Organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to learn the safe use of chemicals as instructed.
  • Visual acuity for inspections and sanitation tasks.

The expected pay range is $22.04. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this position, with individual decisions based on various factors.
