About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of quality technicians, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations, and leading quality improvement efforts to achieve stable and predictable process results.
Main Responsibilities
- Direct the work performed by quality technicians, establishing daily activities, assigning projects, and monitoring progress.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, UL, CSA, industry, and special customer requirements.
- Responsible for daily application of the Quality Management System, including Corrective Action System, Document Control, Calibration, Training, etc.
- Lead quality improvement efforts using problem-solving tools to resolve quality issues and achieve stable and predictable process results.
- Assist in the development of projects related to error proofing, process aids, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or physical sciences.
- ASQ CQE certification or ability to obtain within two years.
- 3-7 years of quality experience demonstrating initiative, detail orientation, technical skills, and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel.
- ISO 9001:2015 training and SAP experience are pluses.
