Senior RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Effectors Systems Design & Architecture organization, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of RF systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain RF system and subsystem level requirements and interface specifications.
- Provide technical expertise in RF integration, verification, and validation, troubleshooting, and failure investigations.
- Lead technical discussions and formulate plans of action by leveraging company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Lead technical conversations with the customer and suppliers.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains:
- Systems engineering, architecture, and/or design.
- RF Sensor sub-systems requirements, integration, and verification.
- Algorithms and signal processing related to RF subsystems.
- Electronics (RF circuit card assemblies, subassemblies, complete systems) requirements, integration, and verification.
- Configurable Logic / Firmware / VHDL architecture, design, development, integration, and verification related to RF subsystems.
- Understanding of and experience across the Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle.
- Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance.
- Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including experience giving technical briefs or presentations.
- Work experience in a challenging fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Matlab, C, C#, C++, Python.

This role is eligible for relocation. We offer a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000 USD, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
