Role Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all operational functions within the unit during their shift.

In collaboration with the management team, the CNC will:

  • Direct and evaluate nursing care in line with established protocols.
  • Serve as a resource for nursing staff and embody the organization's mission and values.
  • Facilitate efficient patient admission and discharge processes.
  • Engage in ongoing assessments of care quality in partnership with management.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that enhances patient outcomes.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing personnel.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with productivity standards.
  • Oversee inventory management and supply procurement.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an ICU or CCU setting.
