This is a GRANT FUNDED role designed to support patients, their families, and surgical teams throughout the perioperative journey. The Clinical Nurse Navigator plays a vital role in advocating for patients and their families, ensuring effective communication and timely updates with the surgical team.
Utilizing extensive clinical knowledge, this position coordinates essential patient care activities and facilitates the flow of information within inpatient settings to guarantee seamless continuity of care.
It is important to note that grant-funded roles at Broward Health are typically temporary or project-based, contingent upon the availability of grant funding. Once the funding period concludes or the allocated resources are depleted, the position may be subject to termination unless further funding is obtained.
