Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer (CAN/LAN) to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Modernization Sector, you will play a critical role in designing, engineering, and transitioning global enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, bill of materials, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with operations engineers and technicians to resolve network issues and implement new technologies.
  • Supervise network support specialists and provide guidance on network services and operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our network infrastructure remains secure and efficient.

Requirements:

  • TS SCI with Poly clearance.
  • 10 years of experience in network engineering, with a combination of work history and education.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE) certification.
  • Experience with network design and implementation, including Tier III or higher network operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper network hardware and software.
  • Expert knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF and BGP.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Network engineering experience with MPLS WANs, network management tools, and firewalls.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent knowledge.
  • Initiative and discipline to work unsupervised as part of a network engineering team.
