Job Title: Drivetrain Calibration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Drivetrain Calibration Engineer to join our team at Integrated Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new vehicle controller calibrations that unlock power and excitement from vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineer new vehicle controller calibrations to maximize power and performance
  • Conduct road testing to ensure perfection and gather performance statistics
  • Develop calibration documentation to aid in customer support
  • Troubleshoot escalated customer issues by analyzing data logs and spotting issues and trends
  • Collaborate with the calibration team to improve processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • B.S. in mechanical, software, or other engineering discipline preferred but not required
  • In-depth engine calibration knowledge (Ignition timing, air fuel ratios, boost levels and so forth)
  • Highly computer literate, including removing and reinstalling drivers, applications, etc in Windows OS
  • Mechanically inclined (Work with fuel lines, spark plugs, change tires, and so forth)
  • Able to read, understand and reverse engineer using the Function Sheets
  • Understand Hexadecimal data and addressing
  • Make data-driven decisions using spreadsheets and data log review software

  • Exposure to production shop conditions; including moving mechanical equipment, and exposure to various fumes, heat, cold, and irritants
  • The noise level can be high when in the vicinity of production equipment

Physical Demands:

  • Sit, walk, stand, and work under or around vehicles for eight or more hours
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
