Job Summary

Pacific Postal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Member Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our branch staff, you will provide exceptional customer service to our members, handling a wide range of transactions and tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Open and close accounts, as well as handle IRA and trust accounts, with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Cross-sell credit union products and services to members, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve member satisfaction.
  • Balance and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or financial services role, preferably in a credit union or banking environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members and staff at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
