Copa Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our residential services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the well-being and safety of individuals served in a positive, supportive, and structured environment.
- Assist and teach individuals in skills of daily living, including housekeeping, personal hygiene, and budgeting.
- Engage individuals in activities and interactions designed to promote treatment goals and overall well-being.
- Document timely, accurate, and appropriate clinical information in individual records.
- Maintain billable hourly requirements as assigned.
- Minimum HS diploma/GED and two (2) - three (3) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
- An associate degree and one (1) - two (2) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
- A Bachelor's degree (related or non-related) in the behavioral health field plus one (1) year of relevant experience in behavioral health.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle screen for insurance purposes.
- Experience working with multi-cultural and low socio-economic individuals.
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety or eligibility to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire.
