As a Program Coordinator, you will:
- Evaluate project specifications, blueprints, and associated documents to understand project goals, develop comprehensive project timelines in collaboration with the team, and pinpoint critical installation deadlines.
- Oversee the acquisition of necessary supplies and materials for project fulfillment, and actively participate in project cost evaluations to ensure financial efficiency.
- Assist the Operations Manager in selecting subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints, while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
- Conduct orientations for project technicians, providing essential project documentation including work scope, technical schematics, project contacts, and application-engineered diagrams.
- Diligently monitor project resources and progress, document any occurrences affecting the schedule, scope, and overall effectiveness, and identify and pursue opportunities for project-specific modifications.
- Manage project-specific billing coordination with the accounting team and Operations Manager, schedule commissioning resources, expedite as-built development mark-ups, and ensure timely completion of project-specific closure documentation.
Your qualifications will significantly influence our success:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or recognized GED
- Prior project management experience in the HVAC controls sector
- Familiarity with HVAC industry applications, ability to interpret MEP drawings and specifications, electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams, and knowledge of standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Legal authorization to work in the US without employer-based sponsorship now or in the future
- Minimum age of 21 and possession of a valid driver's license with few violations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Over 5 years of project management experience in the HVAC controls field
