Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team at Tek Ninjas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and IT automation, with experience in designing and implementing automated workflows and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated workflows and integrations to streamline asset and configuration management processes
  • Implement APIs and scripts to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems
  • Automate data collection, validation, and reconciliation tasks to improve data accuracy and reduce manual effort
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide real-time insights into asset and configuration data
  • Collaborate with the Asset and Configuration Management Coordinator to identify areas for automation and process improvement
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team on automation and integration best practices

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development or IT automation
  • Proficient in one or more scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript)
  • Experience with API development and integration, including the ability to design and implement RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform and its SDK, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt
  • Understanding of IT asset and configuration management processes and data structures
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address integration challenges
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
