Schedule: 4 p.m. - 12 a.m.; every other weekend and rotating weekdays

Part-Time Position: 16 hours per week

Position Summary:

The Family Center Guest Coordinator is responsible for warmly welcoming families to the center, providing them with essential information about our services and the local community, and ensuring a comforting atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet families with warmth and provide information about the center's services and hospital resources.
  2. Register authorized families for the respite area, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed for overnight guests.
  3. Offer concierge services to enhance the comfort of patients and their families during their stay.
  4. Respond to visitor inquiries and provide accurate information through our information line.
  5. Assist the Supervisor with departmental activities and volunteer coordination.
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Technical Expertise:

  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels is required.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • No specific certification is necessary.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
