Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and inventory accounting.
  • Review and manage financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliation and research for accounts.
  • Provide financial budgeting and planning.
  • Monitor and track monthly expenditures, identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase profit.
  • Oversee inventory process at each facility.
  • Manage accounting team by supporting and filling in as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Municipal/Local income, payroll, and property taxes.
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, while safeguarding company assets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years at a senior accounting/controllership level.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in financial management and control.
  • Excellent process documentation creation.
