Job Title: Director of Business Operations

Job Summary:

The Director of Business Operations will oversee the financial and business operations of Presbyterian Villages of Michigan, ensuring the efficient management of resources and the achievement of organizational goals. This role will be responsible for managing the financial business operations, including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial business operations, including cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Manage the company's banking relationships and ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor relations and payment processing.
  • Manage the payroll process, including employee benefits and tax compliance.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize financial risks.
  • Provide training and support to staff on financial and business operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Five years of accounting experience, with a minimum of three years in a senior role.
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.
  • Experience with SAGE-100 and UltiPro Payroll software preferred.
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification preferred.

Work Environment:

The Director of Business Operations will work in a normal office environment, with occasional travel to company locations.
