About the Role

Sysco is seeking a highly skilled New Business Developer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through strategic planning, relationship-building, and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, distributors, and foodservice industry peers.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and market insights to identify new business opportunities and prioritize sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans, including proposal development and contract negotiation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' relevant sales experience in a business-to-business professional sales environment.
  • Proven track record of new business development and sales growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze reports and derive insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with and influence a variety of key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
