Job Title: Regional Loss Prevention Director

Join our team as a Regional Loss Prevention Director and lead the charge in maximizing loss prevention strategy for your region of stores. As a strategic leader, you will be accountable for inventory shrink results and reducing liability through safe work practices within the region.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for leading and managing a team of District Loss Prevention Managers (DLPMs) who in turn manage and Store Loss Prevention Investigators (SLPIs). You will be responsible for:

  • Direct accountability for shrink reduction, investigations, and safe business practice with consistency
  • Building effective partnerships in the field that can be leveraged to achieve common goals of improving sales, profit, and client experience while protecting our assets
  • Identifying market-specific opportunities and developing strategies with DLPMs to reduce shrink by reviewing theft patterns, managing effective investigations, and adjusting staffing
  • Maximizing investigations by guiding DLPM team on use of exception-based reporting, camera technology, behavioral interview, and law enforcement resources
  • Providing recommendations to VP, Loss Prevention on physical security measures for existing and future store locations
  • Conducting store visits with DLPMs and cross-functional partners to evaluate and identify opportunities to improve shrink and reduce liability
  • Managing budgets for LP staffing, guards, team travel, meetings, and physical security within assigned region
  • Conducting regular one-on-one conversations with all DLPMs creating individual development plans for their continued growth
  • Creating an inclusive environment and developing diverse teams and leaders
  • Building talent strategies, succession, and development plans for your region to support the business objectives and growth plans
  • One additional area of responsibility will be assigned from the following:
    • Organized Retail Crime & Safety
    • LP Training/Policy & Procedure
    • LP Operations & Implementation
About You:

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Loss Prevention professional with a proven track record of success in leading and managing teams. You will have:

  • 8+ years of Loss Prevention experience within multi-unit retail environments
  • Understanding of criminal and civil law as it applies to the retail environment
  • Proven ability to manage time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Wicklander-Zulawski, Reid, or similar certification
  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills and can influence business partners at all levels
  • Proven ability to create teams by identifying talented store and district leaders who can train and develop a team to drive shrink reduction while maintaining a safe environment for clients
  • Proficiency with loss prevention applications, MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and store systems including exception-based reporting, EAS, CCTV
  • Ability to travel routinely within assigned locations. Travel is a requirement is approximately 70% of the job and includes local and out of town travel locations.

The annual base salary range for this position is $186,000.00 - $196,000.00. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
