Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

New Story In-District Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Harrisonburg, VA. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing direct treatment and interventions to students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct treatment and interventions to students in a school setting, under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor.
  • Collect and maintain accurate and timely records, including data and client progress.
  • Implement BCBA feedback and maintain compliance with RBT Ethics Code.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students, families, and colleagues.
  • Seek personal growth and training opportunities to ensure clinical excellence.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, required.
  • BA/BS in Psychology, Education, Child Development, or a related field, preferred.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Be in good standing for Insurance Credentialing.
  • Pass a Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse and Neglect, Fingerprinting.
  • Pass tuberculosis test or provide proof of recent negative test.
  • Pass annual First Aid/CPR training.
  • Pass annual MANDT Training.
  • Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance.
