Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee the Food Service operation of our store, inclusive of the Food Court area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all budgeted financial objectives and departmental product quality and presentation standards are achieved to promote optimal opportunity for sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day department operations, including ensuring proper supervision of department staff, responsible for appropriate scheduling and staffing of department to satisfy business needs, and ensuring that all associates within department adhere to all Federal and State laws, as well as all corporate policies and procedures related to safety/sanitation.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of all departmental staff, documents performance issues, and recommends disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Ensure that all associates in department follow company dress code and provide the highest level of fast, friendly, and efficient customer service, exhibits C.H.O.P.S behaviors, adheres to 5S standards, at all times.
  • Responsible for monitoring, controlling and achieving pre-established financial results set forth for the department, including but not limited to monitoring payroll, budgeted sales, gross profit, CTO, shrink, inventory levels.
  • Responsible for the appropriate merchandising of department products, including but not limited to ensuring that products are displayed as per Corporate planograms and special programs, expressing a complete knowledge of department products to the customer, ensuring that proper shelf and display conditions are adhered to, ensuring proper stock levels of items, especially sale items, and ensuring proper item rotation.
  • Maintain Cold case logs, Hot food logs and Cooling logs consistent with store policy.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
  • Basic Literacy, Strong Communication Skills, Satisfactory Performance Reviews, Basic Computer Skills.
  • High School Degree or equivalent, 3+ years of related experience.
