Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at Golder Hospitality Properties. As a Guest Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a pleasant and memorable stay for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check-in and Check-out Process: Perform the check-in and check-out process with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our guests.
  • Phone and Email Management: Answer all incoming and in-house phone calls, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reservation Management: Assist callers with making and/or changing reservations, and ensure that all guest requests are met.
  • Guest Assistance: Assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience, including providing information on local attractions and amenities.
  • Communication: Communicate with guests and employees both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Possess great attention to detail and ensure that all guest requests are met.
  • Knowledge of Local Attractions: Have excellent knowledge of local attractions and entertainment venues.
  • Computer Skills: Have considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations, and backup systems.
  • Mathematical Comprehension: Possess above-average mathematical comprehension to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to operations in hotels.
  • Language Skills: Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with employees and guests.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Be able to effectively interact with internal and external customers, some of whom will require a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
