Role Responsibilities:

This position focuses on engaging with high-net-worth clients, with annual revenues ranging from $100k to $5mm. Key duties include:

  • Identifying client needs and fostering relationships.
  • Reviewing investment objectives and formulating recommendations that align with client goals.
  • Utilizing technology to drive business growth.
  • Profiling client activities to ascertain their investor profile and financial aspirations.
  • Building a sustainable client portfolio and providing pathways for advisors within the organization.

This role is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, necessitating compliance with federal registration protocols.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering customized advice through client reviews and presentations, assessing financial objectives, and recommending investment strategies.
  • Communicating tailored solutions that best fit client financial needs, including core banking and investment options.
  • Collaborating with Financial Advisor teams to expand networks and share relevant market insights.
  • Leveraging the full range of resources available to benefit clients and prospects.
  • Developing and expanding a client portfolio to meet established financial targets.
  • Prioritizing client inquiries and facilitating introductions to appropriate internal resources based on client needs.

Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

As a Merrill Financial Solutions Consultant, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to cultivate your skills as a successful financial advisor. This role offers the chance to work with affluent clients, focusing on relationship management and investment goal alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of Series 7 and 65 (or 66) licenses.
  • Two years of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment.
  • A minimum of one year in the investments sector, with a solid understanding of investment products.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and effective communication abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to generate leads and develop new client relationships.
  • Experience in balancing investment management and sales activities.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
