Key Responsibilities:

The Market Risk Assessment Officer plays a crucial role in overseeing daily liquidity and market risk exposures associated with our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting daily operations as outlined in departmental procedures, including investigating significant fluctuations in margin requirements and monitoring trading behaviors.
  • Building a thorough understanding of client operations and risk profiles to provide effective risk-related support.
  • Evaluating current processes and proposing improvements to better anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • Performing necessary research to support the analysis of various margining strategies.
  • Implementing new margining strategies and enhancing existing ones, including the development of testing protocols and documentation.
  • Educating clients about our services and risk management initiatives.
  • Assisting in the preparation of responses for audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Taking responsibility for identifying and managing risks within your designated areas.
  • Integrating risk management practices into daily operations to effectively monitor and mitigate risks.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with extensive data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills for addressing client inquiries.
  • Familiarity with risk management techniques, such as Value at Risk (VaR), is advantageous.
