Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Esthetics Instructor to join our team at Blue Cliff College. As an Esthetics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the theoretical and practical aspects of esthetics, including the use of cosmetic preparations, body treatments, and other techniques for the care of the skin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum guidelines and requirements for the esthetics program, ensuring alignment with state and federal initiatives.
  • Instructional Delivery: Organize and deliver instructional programs, including demonstrations and lectures, to teach students the skills and knowledge required for the esthetics profession.
  • Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress and achievement through tests, quizzes, and other assessments, providing feedback and guidance to help students improve.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, enforcing classroom protocols and rules to ensure student success.
  • Professional Development: Participate in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and workshops to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Cosmetology/Esthetician Licensure: Must hold a valid cosmetology/esthetician license through the applicable state board.
  • Teaching Experience: Must have at least three years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist/esthetician and be familiar with all aspects of the industry.
  • Instructional Skills: Must possess sound instructional skills, including the ability to develop programs and curricula to meet industry needs.
  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate policies, procedures, and expectations.
