Swim Teacher Job Description

DiVentures is seeking a passionate and energetic Swim Teacher to join our team. As a Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching children and adults swimming and safety skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a variety of levels and ages swimming and safety skills, promoting a lifelong love of swimming and water safety.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring the well-being and confidence of all students.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent and reliable teaching style, building strong relationships with students and their caregivers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Assist with pool maintenance and upkeep, ensuring the facility remains clean and safe for all users.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • First-Aid/CPR/AED and O2 certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Swim Teachers are credentialed through SSI and will complete both training and an apprenticeship prior to teaching independently.
