Swim Instructor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at US Swim School Association. The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming and a desire to help others learn and improve their skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for students of all ages and skill levels
  • Instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety
  • Provide feedback and encouragement to students to help them improve their skills
  • Ensure a safe and fun environment for all students
  • Communicate with Aquatics Director regarding student progress and any concerns
Requirements:
  • A passion for working with children to help each child reach their potential
  • Open to attaining certification in CPR and First Aid
  • A team player who enjoys working with others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work with students of all ages and skill levels
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Physical Requirements:

The Swim Instructor must be able to stand in the water for extended periods of time.

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

We believe that every child can develop a love of physical fitness. Every child can experience the joy of setting and accomplishing their goals. And every child can develop a 'can do' attitude-when they are taught by nurturing, positive and experienced adults.

Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school. All inquiries about employment at these schools should be made directly to the school location, and not to US Swim School Association.
