Job Title: Environmental Scientist 5
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist 5 to join our team at CDM Smith. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations and analyze data to identify potential environmental impacts.
- Develop and implement environmental studies, including NEPA documents and field reports.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and construction staff to implement project approaches.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and provide expertise on technical approaches.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Fisheries, Ecology, Wildlife and Fisheries Science or Management, or related discipline.
- 7 years of related experience.
- Expertise in fisheries science and wetlands preferred.
- Wetland delineation certification or training.
- Regulatory experience in permitting, due diligence, and compliance monitoring.
