Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning and Project Management Specialist to join our team at ICF. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental planning and project management, with experience in leading the development and implementation of environmental and regulatory compliance documents for renewable energy and transmission projects.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with internal staff, external clients, and government officials. They will also have experience preparing and managing high-quality CEQA and NEPA documents, as well as project management experience working within a private consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental and regulatory compliance documents for renewable energy and transmission projects
  • Prepare and manage high-quality CEQA and NEPA documents
  • Interface with internal staff, external clients, and government officials
  • Manage multiple project schedules with competing deadlines and budget constraints
  • Participate in regular team meetings and occasional travel to client offices and remote project sites
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, biology, transportation/transit planning, communications, or related field
  • 5-10 years of environmental planning and/or professional-related experience in a consulting or team-based environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preparing and managing high-quality CEQA and NEPA documents
  • Project management experience working within a private consulting firm
