Automotive Service Adviser

We are seeking dedicated automotive service advisers to oversee and coordinate all service department operations within a retail environment focused on selling tires and related automotive components, as well as mechanical services. This role serves as a developmental opportunity towards becoming a Store Manager. Stranik Automotive Group prioritizes the training and internal promotion of our associates.

Key Responsibilities of the Automotive Service Adviser
  • Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening and advising customers on their vehicle needs.
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding services requested, estimated completion times, and follow-ups.
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and formulate detailed recommendations, including creating computerized repair orders and sourcing necessary parts.
  • Present and discuss pricing estimates with customers while promoting service specials offered by the shop.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the team, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, core values, and employee principles.
  • Supervise a team of up to ten employees.
  • Oversee technicians in their inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the service facility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Automotive Service Adviser
  • At least 2 years of experience in a store or service management role.
  • Solid general automotive knowledge.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Effective team-building capabilities.
  • Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
