Automotive Parts Sales and Inventory Representative

The Automotive Parts Sales and Inventory Representative is a key member of the AUTOMOTIVE PARTS HEADQUARTERS team, responsible for selling parts and automotive equipment within a designated territory. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer orders and maintain awareness of current sales and sales targets
- Conduct sales transactions with adherence to store/company policies and procedures
- Maintain parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and record keeping
- Work closely with vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, returns, and warranties
- Ensure warehouse is clean and organized, and perform shipping and receiving duties
- Perform regular cycle counts of physical inventory and complete related reports accurately and on time
- Assist other team members as needed
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience and a thorough knowledge of the automotive service and shop equipment business and sales approaches
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the company, as well as customers, vendors, and visitors
- Ability to function in a stressful environment, under substantial time pressure
- Strong organizational skills and competency using a forklift and pallet-jack
- Knowledge of desktop computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
