Join Our Team as a Jr. Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Jr. Automotive Technician to join our team at TGK Automotive Specialists. As a Jr. Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience
  • Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance, and tire rotation
  • Perform oil changes, fluid changes, and power flushes, and other basic services
  • Utilize the company's Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document the vehicle condition
  • Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections (in applicable locations) on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to direct supervisor
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Adheres to Sun Auto's core values, and all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee Handbook
Requirements:
  • Previous automotive technician/mechanic experience preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
  • Valid Driver's license in the work State (out-of-state driver's licenses must be transferred to work state within 30 days of hire)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
