Agrisolutions Maintenance Technician Job Description

Job Summary:

Agrisolutions is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Rock Island, IL. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs: Inspect, maintain, and repair physical assets and infrastructure to ensure ongoing use.
  • Record activities and supplies: Accurately record activities, supplies, and necessary components used for maintenance and repairs.
  • Read and interpret documents: Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to evaluate needs and project plans.
  • Train on and maintain robotic programming: Train on and maintain robotic programming and robot operational PM on assembly lines.
  • Assist with new equipment installations: Assist with new equipment installations for the line(s).
  • Follow written and verbal instructions: Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance/technician position.
  • Excellent technical skills: Excellent technical skills, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of process-related standards: Knowledge of process-related standards and ability to read prints and referenced specifications.
  • Good verbal, written, and planning skills: Good verbal, written, and planning skills, including ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Work Environment:

The Maintenance Technician will work in a factory environment and may be exposed to dirt, grit, noise, and dust. Protective clothing and safety equipment are required while working in the plant facility.
