Job Summary

Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation is seeking a part-time Janitorial Services Specialist to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This role involves performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push, pull, stoop, bend or stand for long periods of time
  • Prior janitorial experience preferred
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. The work hours will depend on the site needs.

Benefits

The successful candidate will be eligible for a pay increase after a successful 90-day probationary period.
