Position Overview:
As a Surveillance Systems Technician, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of gaming operations while safeguarding the interests of guests, staff, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote an atmosphere that reflects Bally's commitment to entertainment, fostering a lively and engaging environment.
- Actively support Bally's customer-focused culture by delivering exceptional guest service and nurturing lasting relationships.
- Oversee the functionality of the video surveillance and access control systems, ensuring seamless operation across the Local Area Network (LAN).
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of video surveillance and access control systems, including upgrades and expansions.
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and replacements of various technical equipment, including cameras, servers, workstations, and networking devices.
- Provide guidance in the acquisition of new hardware as needed.
- Facilitate the deployment of new software installations and updates.
- Monitor the performance metrics of surveillance and access control systems.
- Assist in developing a preventative maintenance strategy to minimize equipment failure risks.
- Manage inventory levels of technical supplies and equipment.
- Oversee and maintain the facility's radio communication system.
- Support training initiatives for surveillance supervisors and operators.
- Adhere to confidentiality protocols regarding all surveillance-related information.
- Fulfill duties as a surveillance operator when required.
- Uphold the integrity of gaming operations within the facility.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong mathematical skills are essential.
- Demonstrated organizational and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with guests and colleagues.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to distinguish colors is frequently necessary.
- Occasional work at heights exceeding 10 feet may be required.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent overhead reaching is necessary.
- Occasional work in confined spaces for extended durations may be required.
The work setting is characterized by bright lighting, elevated noise levels, and potentially stressful situations.
