Job Summary:

At Apex Systems, we are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding and coaching our product owners and development teams through the Scrum process. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate open, transparent, and respectful team environments, ensuring that our teams are equipped to deliver exceptional products to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide teams through the Scrum process, removing impediments and ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Coach product owners and development teams on Agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate retrospectives, product backlog management, and decision-making processes.
  • Apply knowledge of Agile and Scrum to help teams achieve continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in IT.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT involving continuous process improvement, project management, business requirements analysis, and/or technical proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience with Agile.
  • Knowledge of multiple technical software delivery life cycles.
  • Advanced knowledge of business management methodology, change management theory, and practices.
  • Preferred certifications of Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Professional (ACP), or Safe Program Consultant (SPC).
