Desktop Support Specialist

At Priority1inc, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve tickets through our ticketing system, prioritizing and addressing technical issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze and resolve complex end-user hardware, software, and connectivity issues, providing clear explanations and documentation.
- Support and enforce corporate policies, procedures, and best practices for Windows Servers.
- Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on technical incidents and issues.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software.
- Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications.
- Follow up on equipment delivered to other sites, ensuring proper receipt and setup.
- Interact with users to understand and document all IT issues.
- Take immediate action to resolve technology service disruptions.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network fundamentals.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Office 2016/365.
- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory.
- 1-2 years of experience with Active Directory (adds, moves, changes, etc.).
- 1-2 years of experience providing technical support in Windows Environment (8, 10), such as password resets, exchange, hardware, and software issues.
- 1-2 years of experience supporting iPhones and hotspots.
- Standard PC software support experience.
- 1+ years of enterprise desktop support experience in a commercial or government environment.
- 1-2 years of IT experience required.
- Base Salary of $35,000-$45,000 DOE.
