Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to enhance our hydro group, with opportunities for remote work available. This role is pivotal as we expand our operations in California and support our clients in the hydropower and water management sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and assess the condition of existing water retaining and conveyance structures.
- Investigate alternative methods for executing remedial projects related to hydroelectric facilities.
- Perform civil design and analysis for various structures including flumes, canals, pipelines, and dams.
- Prepare and review project deliverables such as reports, calculations, and specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Analyze engineering reports and adhere to relevant codes and regulations.
- Engage in proposal development and review, ensuring high-quality submissions.
- Provide construction site support as needed and review contractor submissions.
- Foster mentorship relationships within the team to promote professional growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in California or eligibility for registration.
- Familiarity with FERC licensing and guidelines is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Civil3D, HEC-RAS, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
