Job Summary:The LPN will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including administering medications, conducting wellness visits, and monitoring vital signs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the attending physician
- Conduct monthly wellness visits for all residents
- Monitor and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist with resident evaluations and data gathering
- Participate in quality assurance meetings and clinical meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and community team to promote infection control standards
- Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing
- Current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care
