About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care for the health needs of students in Denver Public Schools. This role requires the ability to administer medications and perform nursing procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care for students, including administering medications and performing nursing procedures.
Respond to medical emergencies in a timely manner.
Participate in the identification process of children with health needs.
Maintain student records and submit data for annual and monthly reports.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED required.
LPN license with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) required.
BLS CPR Certification required.
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience and/or previous experience as an LPN at a school.
