Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with new technologies, conduct testing, optimize configurations, and create comprehensive implementation plans while providing necessary training for end-users.
  • Establish deployment schedules and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel to formulate procedures and policies that enhance the deployment and utilization of software and hardware, ultimately improving user satisfaction.
  • Plan and execute the upgrade of outdated systems.
  • Research and recommend software/hardware acquisitions in coordination with the IT purchasing manager to ensure optimal price/performance ratios.
  • Document best practices for software and hardware deployments.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Create FAQ documents and user guides for end-users.
  • Provide regular updates on project status as directed by the Service Desk Manager.
  • Foster positive and professional relationships with colleagues and vendors.
  • Assist in minimizing trouble tickets by engaging in process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in company-wide tech team planning sessions.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a national matrixed organization.

  • Currently enrolled as a college Junior or Senior in IT or a related field
  • Availability for part-time or full-time work
