Agile Scrum Master

Georgia IT Inc is seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that has diligently applied Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the team in self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
• Ability to intelligently explain agreed-to processes, methodologies, and techniques being utilized by the organization to a variety of audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP (Extreme Programming), Kanban, FDD (Feature-Driven Development)
