Job Overview:

The Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of the Principal to provide support to students, teachers, and staff at Bristol Central High School.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise students before school, during class, recess, lunch periods, and after school.
  2. Assist with instructional activities, such as reading to students, listening to students read, and participating in other forms of oral communication.
  3. Help students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by the teacher.
  4. Provide escort and assistance to children as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; two years of college credit or an associate's degree preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with job-related computer hardware and software applications.
