About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Piedmont Newton Hospital. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from surgery, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and make recommendations for further care or treatment as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices in patient care.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a PACU or ICU environment.
